Potential energy stored in the bodies or in a system due to their position in a force field or due to their configuration. The potential energy is a function of the state a system is in and it is defined relative to that of a particular state. The reference state is not always a real state, it may aslo be a threshold such as with the distances between all bodies tending to infinity, provided that the energy involved in tending to that threshold is finite. If all bodies perform a zero-point energy, and according to standard quantum theory, none of this energy can be withdrawn without altering the system to a different form in which the system has a lower zero-point energy.
The zero point elastic energy of my body causes system's constant
