Pyewacket Kazyanenko - The last post.

My time at Yoshikaze comes to an end. Thank you to Humlab, Umea University and special thanks to Sachiko Hayashi for initiating the project.
My last post is about looking towards the future.More than ever I hope to find myself, physically on my avatars dance floor.  Humlab has played a small role in helping realize this long term project.

My intention with this residency was to explore the 'glitch'. Things  inevitably did turn out chaotically and with interesting unexpected patterns, which is the beauty of  the glitch.
In such experiments i find  a relationship with the medium of virtual reality that is deep, playful and rewarding. The journey shall continue.

Pyewacket Kazyanenko - Amsterdam TV

This is a video of a live presentation on Amsterdam TV using some of of techniques i discovered while  at Humlab. The medium is still very young, the technology clumsy & the virtual world cartoon like, but we push on into new territory. (performance starts at 4.05)

Gosh , a month has passed and I haven't posted anything. I got caught up in a project with playing virtual instruments in Second life and then being  broadcast live on Amsterdam TV. Exciting and groundbreaking work, but time consuming in preparation . Youtube video here:http://youtu.be/y8MfqOTLH34. Ive still been visiting the Humlab site and playing with stage backdrops and Avatar animations:
